McDermott Will & Emery to Take Over Former Heller Ehrman Space at 275 Middlefield Road
November 10, 2008
McDermott Will & Emery is reportedly taking over much of Heller Ehrman’s former digs at 275 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. The business journal is reporting that it is a 10-year deal, and that McDermott is taking down 80,000 square feet, with a first right for the remaining 39,000.
We know that there are multiple requirements running around Palo Alto for law firm space, requirements ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 square feet plus, so it’s no surprise that multiple law firms were interested in the space.
McDermott is currently occupying about 60,000 square feet at 3150 Porter Drive. That building was built in 1998, and McDermott moved in in 2002.
