San Francisco Residential Projects On Hold
October 31, 2008
KPIX/CBS is reporting on the condo projects in San Francisco which have either been cancelled or put on hold. The status of some of the most notable multi-family projects in San Francisco are as follows:
- Urban West Associates’ Rincon Hill Tower 2 - cancelled indefinitely
- Bosa Developments’ Radiance @ Mission Bay Phase 2 - Now on hold until Phase 1 sells
- Fifield Companies’ Californian Project @ 399 Fremont Street - On Hold. Once for sale, current status unkown, except that no sign of any construction activity
- Crescent Heights project at 10th and Mission - On Hold
What’s more is that many of the projects already out of the ground have or are in the process of being converted to rental housing, including the Argenta. Other projects have also instituted fairly dramatic price cuts of 20-30% to get units moving.

Good article…got any info about San Jose projects? Specifically in North San Jose area? There are a good number of supposedly approved projects…Zanker Rd, Tasman Dr, North 1st St, etc….but no activity lately.
