A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words
August 29, 2008
I know this is not related to real estate (yet) but I had to post a picture of what is potentially our next vice president, Sarah Palin. I wasn’t sure what to call the title of this post, but it came down to what you see and “Good Grief”.
Looks like Christmas may have come a bit early this year for Obama+Biden.

I have been reading this blog for only a few weeks, but it seemed to be informative. Now this posting makes me reconsider that view. Since you post this photo with no context or backstory, I must assume that either a) there is no story, or b) you are simply trying to stir up FUD for your own political views. In my view, such a fact-free posting calls into question your credibility on your main topic as well. And since you publish this blog anonymously, I see now that it is best to classify it as entertainment/opinion rather than professional/informational.
You want some context? How about disappointment? Regardless of who wins this election, I was hoping that we would see more qualified individuals on each party’s ticket.
Now the republican ticket is no more than the reciprocal of the democratic ticket. Too bad we can’t get a President/Vice President ratio that is equal to 1.
I’ve been reading this blog for 7+ months and find it to be an informative, credible source on commercial real estate in the Sili Valley. You often have news several days before the local rags. Blogs are the personal opinion of the author and while it may be jarring to see a political message herein, you are entitled to your opinion without context or backstory without someone disparaging your credibility. Keep up the good work. BTW, I couldn’t agree more with your post on the Moose burger eating Veep candidate.
Let me get this straight Ross, you are questioning the authors credibility on the matter of commercial real estate simply because s/he posted a picture and note on an entirely unrelated matter?
That’s a pretty silly position to take since a close analysis of Sarah Palin’s personal life (a seemingly unrelated matter) should cast doubt on her credibility as well if one were to follow your reasoning.
As for this blog, I too have been following it for a few months and have found that it is the writer’s opinion and perspective which makes it better than your typical newspaper article written by some reporter.
Whoever runs this blog obviously gets it. Perhaps they should consider “exposing” themselves, it might even be good for business.
I believe what you are asking for is a misdemeanor in most states Karl and I doubt it would be good for business…
in all seriousness though, if you poke around the site you’ll find it’s not entirely anonymous…
First time to the web site……probably the last. I don’t see how anyone could make a comment on a picture without knowing the context.
I have to go to lunch now to eat my Buffalo Burger!!
